Project Manager (Electrical Lead)

Following on from securing a number of new projects we are looking to recruit an ambitious, qualified, and dynamic Project Manager with an electrical background to join our fast expanding team. You will be responsible for managing multiple projects from design through to completion. You will work closely alongside other Project Managers and the Projects Director to ensure projects are planned, coordinated and executed on time.

You will be the Electrical point of across the company from design to delivery including ground mounted solar, small/medium sized gas power plants, grid scale batteries and residential housing projects.



Oversee and manage projects within the portfolio to ensure they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality possible

Client liaison when necessary

Understanding all contractual obligations for each project you are responsible for. Monitoring compliance and tracking compliance with these obligations

Producing project reports for the management team and for clients

Attending weekly project update meetings

Identifying project risks and put strategies in place to minimise likelihood of occurrence

Keep project plans, records and paperwork up to date and organised

To identify a strategy and agree objectives with the Projects Director to ensure the successful, delivery of multiple projects

Agree project specific targets, goals, programmes and budgets with the Projects Director

Oversee commissioning of all electrical components

Provide input for the electrical design and layout of projects

Oversee installation of low voltage, high voltage and DC

Assist with any onsite electrical faults

Be the main electrical point of contact for queries and advice across Business Development, Support and Delivery


Key Skills

5+ years relevant industry experience

Experience on large infrastructure projects

Experience on working and delivering concurrent projects

Experience of managing projects to time, cost and quality objectives

Excellent communication skills at all levels

Self-motivated and resilient with excellent organisational skills

Hardworking, flexible and reliable with good attention to detail

Adaptable and works well under pressure

Customer focused with excellent relationship management skills

Have a good knowledge of Microsoft packages
