Quantity Surveyor - Push
To prepare cost estimates relating to a range of investment projects for Push and produce associated reports.
To prepare schedules of work, specifications and/or BOQ’s for both tender documentation and to assist with the purchasing of materials.
To manage subcontractor accounts, agree valuations and prepare recommendations for payment.
To prepare and submit monthly valuations with lenders to enable prompt drawdown of finance.
Preparation of final accounts as projects are completed.
Assist with administering building contract works through to completion including liaison with contractors and other professional advisors.
Maintain records and reports to inform Directors by providing accurate reconciliation of costs to assist in the strategic prioritisation of work.
To represent the company when required.
Conduct themselves always during office hours or when on Company related business in a manner befitting a Chartered Building Surveyor.
May work on confidential projects or handle confidential information.
Perform additional managerial related duties as required.
Contribute to the marketing of the company by identifying potential future clients and work opportunities.
Qualifications, Skills & Abilities
Minimum (5) years’ experience in similar quantity surveying work in a project delivery environment.
BSc/MSc in construction related subject.
Chartered Status of working towards membership of RICS/CIOB
