Project Development

The art of the possible

Developing large-scale energy projects is complex and multi-disciplinary. It requires strong processes and attention to detail. It’s an approach which has led to successful partnerships with major capital providers. Our team has all the key skills in house, such as planning, design, grid connections and engineering. The linkage through our in-house EPC team means our projects are developed to the high standard they would expect, and our investors demand.

Push Energy is always looking to develop further energy projects and is interested in working with new investors, landowners or companies who are at the project concept stage. We are experts at assessing risk and testing commercial and technical viability.

Engineering, Procurement and Construction

We are only interested in building quality projects.

We know that our team will be more motivated if they take pride in what they build and the legacy we leave behind.

We are an established energy project Engineering, Procurement and Construction Contractor (EPC), having constructed over 200MW of utility scale plants to date, with a future project pipeline spanning commercial battery plants, gas-peaking plants and subsidy-free solar projects.

Push Energy have a focus on value engineering to ensure that the plant is built to maximise the income over the lifetime of the asset. Because we typically maintain what we build, the materials used and the installation quality are designed to maximise output and to minimise the reactive maintenance required during the operational phase.

Our team has all the key skills in house – including Project Management, Engineering, Health & Safety and Site Management.

Operations & Maintenance

Delivery of services is by PSH Operations, a joint venture between two of the UK’s most trusted Operations and Maintenance (O&M) companies, Push Energy and PS Renewables.

PSH Operations is a competent, qualified and respected O&M business with over 680MW under management. We use highly skilled, in-house staff to ensure our customers get the service they deserve. This approach is much better than sub-contracting critical works to 3^rd parties, where one can lose control quickly.

Push Energy, as a developer and EPC, will continue to create projects for our PSH Operations business to manage. We offer other asset owners the opportunity to benefit from a multi-technology O&M platform, that is here for the long term.
